Not bad, but most anytime I eat it, I get heartburn.

I ate it as a kid, which was before I started to think about what I was actually eating. It was great then.

shit was good back in the day

I wouldn't eat it now, but it was good...I feel kinda like I'd feel insulting an old girlfriend who was no longer attractive

Definitely edible if enough salt is added. Keep the shaker close by whenever you eat it.

There are three types of ravioli.

mini ravioli
ravioli
overstuffed ravioli

the overstuffed stuff is the best. It has the most [sketchy] meat of course, and if you get one of the jumbo cans you can have either a really big meal or two satisfying meals. The mini raviolis are different... they have a different sauce from the regular ravioli and overstuffed. The regular ravioli is kind of forgettable... definitely get the overstuffed over it.

Another thing: the way you cook it makes a big difference. Microwave will give the regular and especially the overstuffed ones an uneven texture with dry spots on them. The ravioli will pop and make a big mess sometimes, so you need to cover the bowl with paper towel. The mini ravioli is more soup-like so the popping and drying out doesn't happen so much.

Your best bet is to put the stuff on the stove and heat at medium low heat. Stirring with a wooden spoon while being careful not to inadvertently break the ravioli up into mush as you stir.

like it's really that hard to make cheese sauce and noodles? its totally worth the little extra effort as powdered "cheese" sauce is just gross

^^The 3 cheese shells kraft is awesome when made with the full amount of butter and milk. The powdered cheese is the only way to go with boxed mac and cheese. I do enjoy cooking the real stuff when I'm not lazy, but I still enjoy the boxed stuff.

^^^^Agreed. The lubed up cheese sauce packets that were made popular by Velveeta Shells (and now Kraft Deluxe) makes me nauseous--ugh, don't even want to think about it. However, the powdered boxes end up being so much better to me, because, well MILK AND BUTTER.

^Good choice. You should keep it away from light, at about 65 degrees, and 70% humidity. Store it this way for at least 6 months. Prime is 2 years.

Enjoy your ravioli!

i'm telling you. add milk and butter to the cheese packet kind. it makes it SO enjoyable.

esp if you add egg and some shredded cheese bake it.

omnomnom semi homemade mac n cheese.

considering that pasta is already cheap as hell if you cook it on your own, there is really no advantage other than the fact that you can nuke it quickly and have something hot to eat.

i eat it on occasion pretty much for that only reason. i have a particular friend who buys various chef boyardee products on road trips because he'll eat them cold out of the can. i, for one, refuse to eat canned food without giving a proper dose of radiation before consumption.

The beef is awful (more like beef flavored paste), the pasta is mushy, and the tomato sauce is flavorless
