It's for a Dell Inspirion 9200 The drive itslef is a DW-D56A.

Don't really care as far as the brand goes. Just gotta work.

Has a connector like this. I guess it's EIDE?

i've got a couple of those...the form factor SHOULD be the same for all, but it's the faceplate that won't work unless it's specifically from your model of laptop (generally, anyway...it's been a long time since manufacturers have used a standard face that could be used on any laptop...now they're all customized to fit the style of the unit)
