i'm downloading some of their newer stuff now, but i hope they don't venture too far into their punk/avantgarde realm, though in reality i'll probably be super drunk and punk will be exactly what i want to hear at that point in time.

I thought they were shitty till i stopped listening to Pink and heard their earlier slower, heavier stuff. I'm downloading some of their super long stuff (1ish song albums) but i probably won't be a fan. It will be hard for anyone to outdo Dopesmoker in my humble opinion

I'm glad i didn't have to sit through 45 minutes of russian circles. I can't take more than 3 minutes of that band.

I got pulled for the same thing like a week ago on rosemary. I literally turned my lights on the second i turned out of a parking lot and got pulled over a good 2 minutes later. I have daytime running lights so its not like i had NO lights on. I turned on church street turned on the inside light to change a cd and when i made a left on franklin the cop behind me pulled me over, my lights had been on literally for at least a minute and a half and he said "Oh i pulled you over because your headlights were off but i see that they were on" and i wanted to say "No, you pulled me over for no reason but to see if i smelled like alcohol"

fuck that shit motherfucker



i kinda want to dig out a setlist because i'd only ever heard one of those songs that they played and it wasn't one of the ones that i liked. The thing they opened and ended on were my favz

It was like priestess with terrible guitar playing, super mediocre drums and dull yet somehow happy riffs

I think everyone at the show next week will have gone to see boris, but if you asked anyone at the show tonight they probably wouldn't have heard of these bands either. Cynic is also headlining but for some reason i'm not that excited to see them.

its like a bookstore with a ping pong table. I think they took down all the bookshelves and vinyl records they had in there the last time i went and replaced it with like seating so that you can actually fit people in there.
