all of the experiences I've had with MTV and the anecdotes I've heard from Viacom employees lead me to believe that MTV does NOT pay anyone well for anything - if you end up on camera with them they act as if you should be grateful

MTV World filmed a show that I organized at my house - the crew that filmed it were all freelancers (that's how MTV does things these days, the cheap fuckers) and the producer wouldn't even pay for herself and her crew to watch the show [I asked for a donation because the show was a fundraiser for refugee relief in the Swat Valley]

yea i didn't get it either at first. i don't think anyone in the cab did either. finally i heard her say something over the yelling. she was like "OH ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT BOYS? wait, that is why i left last time and no one could understand it. to be with a boy"
