I'm still learning this shit and I hate copying/pasting shit loads of data into my code, so I typically use infile to bring in files.
however, I've either forgotten something or I'm just not doing something right...
data one; infile 'file.txt' input date $ season $ system $ y; run;
proc print; run;
file.txt is in the current directory, tab delimited.
I get a bunch of errors and the output is nothing but the first column being displayed through each row and column
It's running through XP mode so it's a pain to copy/paste things to here.

my guess would have been the lack of a semicolon after infile 'file.txt'
but i haven't played with it in a while 7/30/2010 3:47:19 PM |
