I've never been and I'm going down there later this month for a bachelor party. Friend lives there so we're just going for a free place to stay and nice weekend at the beach.

Anyone have some suggestions on fun places to go around there? Fun things to do? Good restaurants? Fun, local activities?

Any and all help is much appreciated.

i've heard good things about it--kinda like a laid-back version of hilton head--but i've never been
