Participants rated the pictured man's status and attractiveness, and reported on their willingness to date, kiss, and engage in other sexual activity with the person. ive always heard when you wear red, you appear more confident/powerful so i've always worn a red tie in interviews

I've also heard that red makes you more hungry, thats why all cheap mexican/Italian places have a lot of red in the decor.

So it would make sense if they surveyed a bunch of fatties that they would find the red more attractive. I'm gonna assume the U of Rochester has a lot of fatties.

i've read about studies about men rating women as more attractive when wearing red but didn't find a similar result for women viewing men.

I don't ever wear red. I wear dark maroon from time to time. Pretty much my entire wardrobe is dark blue or dark green. Maybe this explains why I'm single. Or maybe it's other things.
