That article needs about 40 percent more punctuation marks.

We should throw the owners from a car into oncoming traffic.

we have a puppy being thrown into oncoming traffic, and the response from some of you is about the punctuation in the article??

I mean, it's obvious that the guy was a poor excuse for a human being. He should be shot, castrated, set on fire, what have you.

But we've seen this kind of article many times before. The fact that people are cruel and heartless is not new. So I make fun of the writing.

Look, to get fully connected to the real world I'm gonna need some proper communication, so that I'm not distracted by awkward phrasings from sentences like:

Quote :
""Its becoming more common not just in our county but everywhere. Its not just small animals like cats and dogs, anymore people are leaving horses on other people's property, I don't know if people can't afford them anymore or...I just can't imagine people doing something like that ever." Smith said."

made up the story 'cause he was afraid his wife wouldn't let him keep it.

So, check on the castrated part.

That site also says that the 5th most stolen car of 2010 was the Infiniti G47 coupe. That's mighty impressive for a car that doesn't exist.

I'm not desensitized. I just don't see the point in posting the same exact response people always post in threads like this.

^^ lol

Quote :
"The detective tells Fox 8 News that Chapman was given the puppy from a litter of 10 by a friend. Afraid that his wife would not let him keep it, he fabricated the story about saving the pup after it had been thrown from a moving car.

Chapman's wife, who believed her husband's story, reported the incident to the local SPCA, which initially credited Chapman with saving the puppy before receiving a tip about what really happened. That tip eventually led to Chapman's arrest.
"

lol

I bet that guy told her not to report it and she insisted.

I really am not trying to be douchey here, but that is exactly what desensitized is... you've seen enough of it that it doesn't bother you any more (and with something like this, I don't think that should be happening)

It does bother me though (when it's real). It bothers me just as much every time. I just don't post that part of it.

Assuming this was even real, the puppy survived.

I was going to call bullshit on the story when I read in the article that he actually hit the dog and it survived after leaving a dent in his bumper.

I don't know about you guys, but I've done those "hit the car with a sledge hammer" charity events, and hitting the bumper with a sledge hammer hardly left a ding.

but now that I know the story is fake, the hand is over, and I can't play the 'bullshit' card.

did he also moon a biker gang, steal a bulldozer and then lead police on a dramatic 5mph chase?

it could happen... I've had disc golf disc leave big dents in my truck, as well as a football... if it is just one of those little plastic bumpers (not a chrome/metal one), then it could be dented pretty easily
