I would go ahead and do it.

Gotta take chances. if not, you'll lead a very stagnant life.

this is what i'm worried about. if i don't do what i'm thinking about doing, i'm afraid i may think about what could've happened for the rest of my life. and even if nothing came of it, at least i would know that i tried.

this reminds me of something my grandma used to tell me as a teenager...

every time one of my guy friends would come over...to hang out, ride 4-wheelers, go fishing, whatever...she would always say...

"you just keep your britches up"

[Edited on August 5, 2010 at 9:21 PM. Reason : if only i had her around to remind me of that now ]

here is how i solve all my most difficult problems (usually this involves whether or not to drink liquor at the bar)...

i think of whatever it is i'm contemplating doing...

then i walk up to a total stranger and say "yes or no...just answer yes or no"...

they will invariably ask what i am referring to...

i say "it doesn't matter..i have a decision to make and i just need for you to answer yes or no"

then act according to whatever their answer is...

i usually end up drinking liquor in the bar when i do this
