Anyone have any Pen Pals?

How can I find someone to write to. I wanna write to someone in another country or something. I enjoy sending a recieving mail.

i think jail/prison pen pals are the coolest.

but also slightly creepy

and then you run the risk of turning into one of those women that falls in love with the person in jail and you end up on some tv show when you try to break them out

i had a pen pal in france or something when i was in elementary school

i had a few folks that i met in aim chat rooms back in college that i had fairly long-lasting friendships with. not quite the same as physical mail of course - but same principle i suppose

Yeah...I'm not looking to chat with inmates or anything...but I still think it would be a butt load of fun.

That's what I loved a lot about working at a camp, getting mail. It's fun having something come for you in the mail other than bills or junk.

i sort of had one from russia in elementary school. her name was nadya. i guess her and her classmates wrote letters to our class and i picked her. i wrote her back about american stuff (like how much i liked macaroni & cheese haha) but then she never wrote again. bitch.

Anyone know of any websites to find them...I've been gooling but most of them seem like dating websites and shit, I'm not trying to date someone, just trying to have conversation.

i was pen pals with a girl i met in wales when i was 13. we kinda had a thing goin on when i was over there, so we wrote to each other for a while once i came back to the states. then i never really wrote back.

recently i've been writing to a girl that i met while i was over in california

i don't know if it really counts with people you've already met.

in the modern era of instantaneous communications, i'm not really inclined to devolve back to a method of communication that takes like 3 weeks for a set of messages to get exchanged.

Well I just signed up to be pen pals with someone in the military. I wasn't quite sure how to go about finding someone that wanted to be pen pals, not e-mail pals.

I like to write letters.
