I continue to get calls to my cell phone from some unnamed internet pharmacy that has my name and email trying to sell me Viagra. I am lucky if they call less than once a day. Being nice and asking them not to call anymore doesnt work. They simply hang up as soon as they know you arent buying. Doesnt stop them from calling again 4 hours later. Being ugly doesnt work.

Now I am on to placing fictitious orders with fake credit card numbers and wasting as much time of their time as I can.

Their numbers change, but for the last month they have been calling from 206-561-4512.

The only way to block this on AT&T is another $6 a month service. And yes, I have been on the do no call for ages, and yes I submitted a claim many months ago.

Others have to deal with these jokers?

just save all the numbers they call from as Do Not Answer or Ignore in your phone book

and ignore it.

Would be great if they didnt call as late as midnight and all through-out the day. Its very disruptive.

next time they call you start complaining that you never got your fictitious order, ask to speak to a supervisor, and demand a refund.

Keep filing complaints with the FTC every time it happens.

And meanwhile... I would try answering the phone with various deceptive greetings. I'd probably start with something like "FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection, this is _____, how may I help you?" and see where it gets me .

Ask them if they can get you large quantities of pseudoephedrine, in say 10 pound quantities, shipped to an intersection and paid in cash.

Or just look to Tom Mabe for inspiration

some phones let you set custom ringtones and/or call rules. Create a rule for these folks to always ring on silent, or go straight to vm.

You can also sue the company for ~10,000 dollars
