Are there any of those in North Carolina? Seems like a pretty cool concept in that you cook your steak to just your likings on your personal stone.

I'd like to give it a shot but I feel like I'd have to go to NYC to find a restaurant that does this.

The stones are heated up to 750°F in an oven beforehand.

Some thing tells me I'm gonna have to go international for this, too many stupid Americans will want to sue after burning themselves.

It's under "Small Plates"

^AHH

I'll have to check that out...though I'd prefer a full-on steak and for $13 i bet it's pretty small.

I thought that the short-lived hot stone trend went out about 2 years ago.

Regardless, I hate ordering it because whenever they put it on or remove it from the table I get scared the plate is going to break or get dropped and my groin will be smashed/burned with the damn rock.

^ Don't. Overpriced and pretty bad.

Yea.... I'm thinking you'd have better outcomes from having an actual stove you can use...

Hey people.. he didn't ask for a place with cheap hot stone steaks. He just asked for a place that offered it.
