I defriend people all the time, especially when they get annoying on their news feeds. If it's a friend I intend on keeping IRL I just hide their updates but if it's an acquaintance, like some girl/guy from class x during freshmen year that I haven't seen since, they get the defriend

-You hate on my harbormaster on my iphone
-Wear a shirt that shows your tattoo on your lower back [is that harsh? i thinks that's a subconscious DIRL]
-hate on people that go to the goat
-have never been to Pam's
-have it on a christian rock station when i get in your car
-get offended when people say funny things about specific demographics
-try to act like an activist about some cause that nobody has ever heard of
-talk about how poor you are more than once a month
