My husband is very allergic to latex. He gets a rash and it has gotten to the point where he starts to have difficulty breathing.

Back when we were dating, we used the Trojan Supras. The only problem we had with them were the problems you have with all polyurethane condoms--the tendency to tear or rip with vigorous use. I went to Planned Parenthood more than once for the morning after pill because they would tear.

My husband didn't like the lambskin condoms because he said that they had a funny smell. I don't have any experience with them.

I've been interested in the new Skyn condoms, but haven't tried them. Another user on TWW has stated that he doesn't like them because he can't feel anything through them.

you can take BC and still use a back up method of birth control until you are in a committed (or trusting) agreement/relationship/whatever word here. is taking extra precautions really that shocking? until you exchange test results or whatever, i don't care how good it feels to get rid of the barrier down there, VD is not something i want to risk. not to mention unwanted pregnancy, but that is another convo

In the past two years I've had three good friends have "surprise babies" pop up on them...all from women who were suppose to be on the pill...all by women with suspect craziness while the relationship was "in doubt." In my eyes, at least two of the three were "keep-a-nigga-babies" [Chronic 2001 reference].

Having said that...fuck condoms. And if I'm in a serious relationship, that girl is going to be awesome and I'm okay with a surprise baby [knocks on wood].

IUDs rule. I have one too, and as far as I'm concerned, it's gonna stay there until its 10-year expiration date or I can find a doctor to fix me, whichever comes first.

Just purchased the Avanti Bare to get us through the next month or two of everything getting back right from the IUD removal. They didn't have any of the Supras like we use to use at the grocery store. I'll let you guys know how the Avanti Bares go.
