Well, I searched and couldn't find one...

My dad just emailed this to me:

"I had a wild ride last week. I was climbing through 27,000 feet and I had and engine start coming apart. I was flying from Denver to Albuquerque and had to declare an emergency and diverted to Colorado Springs on one engine. After landing, the right engine had a hand full of metal shavings in the exhaust end of the engine. Definately a first for me!"

He's been a commercial pilot now for about 10 years. He flies an Embraer 190 for US Airways. Some of his simulator stories with random FO's are also pretty cool...

Just about went inadvetant IFR, came out of the fog, landed a few mins later and found out the artificial horizion was sticking at about 15deg bank left and 10 down. That would have been a bad day/fatal.
