Little Caesar's was the shit from when they opened in NC (late 80s) til around the time they started delivering. They got away from what they did best: make 2 big-ass pizzas with tasty garlic breadsticks. No salad. No pasta. No 5 foot long pizza.

I don't like to admit it, but the pizza in CA was so awful (aside from one place that wasn't convenient to where I live -- Amicis) that I would often just go to LC's and pick up a $5 pizza and breadsticks because it was pretty much just as good as any place where you'd pay $16 for a large cheese pizza...
