I always thought that the " effective 6 days before your missed period" notice meant take this 6 days before you think that you will miss you second period.

^ it's 6 days before your 1st missed period. So if you're trying to get pregnant and you can't wait to know and you've calculated your period to be coming within the week, take the test. I think it's the only test out there with that early results.
