Ok. So my moms neighbors (whom have only lived here a year or two so she never really got to meet them well) left their cat behind.
bastards.

anyway....she had kittens!

i guess they're about 10-12 weeks old.
they're bigger, but they are still definitely kittens and most are really sweet (there are three that are somewhat skiddish {all the gold ones actually} but i am SURE will warm up once someone gets em )
one of the people in this neighborhood has been feeding the mom and now them since they were born, so that helped out

i think they are going to be extremely small cats. the mom isn't much bigger than they are! (theres a picture of her one with one in here)

i'm really trying to give these little guys a new home before they turn into 7 stray cats (not to mention to ones that are female will multiply etc etc)

i'm tempted to take the mom. shes my favorite. she is soooooo freaking sweet, but i dont need another cat


please pm me if you know of ANYONE who wants a kitten.

so i think it's one gray/calico, 2 grays, 3 goldens.

that also makes me think...i am more than willing to take a few in at my house in cary (cody is gonna be so mad i said that ahaha) for people who KNOW that they want one


and i understand that people don't necessarily want these but youve got to know someone who is looking!

hehe, if i dont find owners im gonna just continue seeing them every so often and let them remain as strays. maybe i can cut some sort of deal where i can take them all to get fixed eventually.

bump.

i have told my neighbors who are feeding them that i will call the aspca this weekend and see if they will tkae them.
cody is gonna be PISSED that i say this but i may hold on to the momma.
im not sure yet.


shes just so damn sweet and i feel like ill be more proactive about getting her a home than they will....i dont know, its a fleeting thought right now.


we just really dont want to give them to dunn animal shelter...they are a little too high kill :-/

but if the aspca won't take them there are other no kill cat shelters around you can check with! just because i never want animals to go to the actual pound.

those look like russian blues, I have one now (I think half russian blue) and she is one of the two sweetest cats I've ever had and I've read they tend to have charming personalities
