I am kind of confused about what the "cover letter" they are asking for is actually the cover of. I am relatively sure that they just want people to e-mail them and tell them how cool they are.

they want you to send a "cover letter" basically introducing yourself and proving you're interested in the job. its actually not a bad idea but yea the way its written is pretty pretentious
