Hello,

I am trying to find someone to share the townhouse that I am renting in the Glennwood North Community. The place is about 10 min from campus and we could carpool on MWF when I go to NCSU. If you are interested please let me know and I can send pictures. There is a community pool/fitness center and free parking.

I finished my mechanical engineering degree in '09 from Georgia Tech and am now applying to NCSU's vet school.

Rent is $600 + half of utilities.

Thanks,
Lisa

^^I googled that and got no results

Quote :
"To reach Glenwood North, take the Glenwood Avenue road on the left from i440. After driving for about 3.5 miles, you’ll hit Glenwood Forest on your left. Cross the Millbrook and Duraleigh intersection to reach the entrance of Glenwood North."
-From the website.

You're about 20 minutes from NCSU, not 10 minutes.

google says 13 with no traffic, but yeah in the morning traffic on glenwood/around crabtree/on that stretch of 440 that number might drift closer to the 20 mark

I disagree on the time it takes to get to campus. I go down Duraleigh and park in the Varsity lot which is south of campus and it only takes 15min or less. To get to North Campus would take even less time. The crab tree mall is crowded, but I never go that way.

Say that it does take 20 min to get to where you need to go on campus...this is a great location for someone like me who only drives to campus 3 times a week and wants an upgraded, quiet place to live. The closer you get to campus, the less you are going to get for your money. If you want to be right next to the college action, this is not the place for you. If you want a clean, calm place to get work done and relax by the pool on the weekends then it is perfect for you. The place has a gas fireplace, a screened in porch, hardwoods, a guest bedroom, equipped laundry room, wireless internet, beautiful molding, corian countertops and new black appliances in the kitchen, and a workbench and storage in the garage.

i used to live on the other side of these townhomes. Took me 18minutes to get to main campus (Dan Allen deck). I'd take duraleigh to wade to dixie trail. It wasn't a bad drive though.

good luck
