yup

lots of pork is made here, so we should have some of the best bacon

tomatoes? yes, grown here

lettuce? yes

the south doing it right and putting mayo on it? yes

there are alot of things people don't think about when they think NC that are very common here and actually staples

for whoever said "what, no cheerwhine?" they did have sundrop on there

the only thing that I cocked my head at was the herring- I've never seen that here

in all honesty, I never heard any hub-bub about bojo's until I came to State

it was about as revered as KFC or Burger King- people ate there, but it wasn't the "thing to do"

I've eaten Herring at the Cypress Grill, but it was a long time ago. It's not a statewide thing, but around that area it's a big deal.

I'm glad Bojangle's wasn't on the list

Sun Drop itself isn't even from NC
but the Cherry Lemon combo apparently is

That would fit better in the 25 tastes that define New Jersey. They could put it right after garbage.

the list bounced from the generic (barbeque) to the specific (Snappy Lunch's pork chop sandwich). Hell it lists bbq and then a specific restaurant's bbq.

haha at bojoangles being a taste of NC

seriously? it takes a little more than college cult following to truly reflect the history and culture of NC through food and drink

get over it

seriously fuckin bojangles? what aboutt he numerous soul food places that do fried chicken way better and actually brew sweet tea.

seems like the list should either be general foods, or specific places....instead it is a disjointed mixture of the two.

bojangles ain't just college students, it's every mofukkin construction worker in the state, too.

7:00 am -- show up to work
7:15 am -- load up the company truck, tell bossman you're off to the site
7:30 am -- chicken biscuits and coffees at the Bojangles

(i agree, there is better, its just not as right in your face every time you want some)

like I mentioned earlier:

Quote :
"in all honesty, I never heard any hub-bub about bojo's until I came to State

and for ^your argument- replace KFC w/ mcdonalds or any of the other places that are open early enough for people going to work (pretty much every single place that serves bfast)
