no dead pixels, no bleeding. Both the display and the stand are in great condition.

The IPS panel is top notch..no doubt about it.
I have the 24" version of this monitor and I love it.

Having said that, the monitor prices have started to fall significantly.
You can now get a new 24" IPS panel for 300.00..(Yes, I know it is HP but I believe the Dell is just re-badged.)

It would probably be easier to sell at your asking price if you include the age of the monitor. Unless it has an LED backlight, the monitor certainly won't be as bright as it was when you first got it (even though you may not notice). I have a 4 year old LCD, and the backlight is noticeably dimmer than when I first got it.

^^ I'll consider it. But to be honest, I don't have as much interest in selling the calibrator as the monitor (i have a second display that I use it for as well). I just figured adding the $100 calibrator for just an additional $25 would be a decent offer to go along with the display.


Regarding the age: The display was delivered to me on 3/3/2009 (taken from the dell purchase conf. email). So it's about a yr and a half old. And over that time, it's been off more than it's been on.

I run it with the brightness turned down quite a bit (less than 50%). The default settings are typically far higher than necessary and the first thing I do with a new display is lower it. Is it dimmer than from the factory, I'm sure it is to some extent. Is it capable of being brighter than most people need it to be, absolutely imo.


250 is the asking price - it's really just the same asking price I used for craiglist. I'm open to other offers. But I'll be up front and say that I probably won't bother selling it for less than $200. Feel free to offer less so it's noted, in case I decide to anyhow. But it's not simply going to the highest bidder after a certain period of time.
