see title. i can't find anywhere online that says it does. if not, are there any parks in that area that have swings?

we're meeting my SIL and taking our 10 month old nephew swinging tomorrow. he LOVES it. just don't want to come all the way up there and be disappointed (i'm in rocky mount, SIL & nephew are in pittsboro).

thanks

I told you a park Unless you don't want to be in the Crabtree area for some reason. Optimist is kind of a pain to get to if you're just wanting something near the Beltline imo.

i know you told me one. i'm just telling you what SIL's coworker said. maybe you had been to that one before too. we are going to be eating & shopping at north hills so that's why we chose that area. optimist looks like it's one street off six forks, not too hard to get to. i'll tell her about laurel hills park too. optimist is 2 miles, laurel hills is 4.

i do appreciate your suggestion and we will look into it.

Yeah I just remember traffic always sucking when we would go out there to use their pool. It's why I started just going to the pool on Ridge Road instead.

I'm pretty sure cedar hills rotary park has swings... it is off of millbrook about a mile down from six forks, so not far from north hills

Yep you should go to Cedar Hills, I spent many many of my young years on that, at the time, really sweet playground, and they have huge swings.

Its at the end of Sweetbriar north of Millbrook.

I didn't know swings were so hard to find. Are they considered unsafe now or something?

^^exactly. And you definitely won't find them on any schools' playgrounds. I've seen some at the Rolesville Park and the Buffaloe Rd park. I can't think of any parks in the North Hills area where I've seen them though.
