discuss!

I think I might get it for Wii, even though it's the most inferior system for Rock Band games

I know a lot of people to play with on that platform, and SUPPOSEDLY we'll be able to import from RB2 (and hopefully RB1)

at least that's what I take from this article

http://systemlink.gamersguidetolife.com/2010/09/rock-band-3-features-importing-across.html

I wish they'd have different sayings like "You suck!!" "You were a'ight" "You rock" and "You're a rockstar"
when you get 2,3,4, or 5 stars.

i hope they integrate the new cameras so when you get 2 stars you can see videos of 4 year olds doing better than you at the game

I'd have made it in Entertainment, but....

yeah.

I think the addition of harmonies should make it fun. at least 3 people can sing the lead or something now like in the beatles

does anyone know if the Wii is gonna support SDHC for RB3?

God, I could never make harmonies work on Beatles Rock Band. Although we were using one mic because I'm not going to buy another one, dammit.

There is now 16 posts in this thread, 9 of which are from BubbleBobble.

Just your interesting TWW statistic of the day.

oh another installment of a series where people pretend to play instruments because they're too lazy to actually learn how to play a real one

You can't really tell if you're doing it right or wrong on the real thing and there is no feedback when you're done with a song to tell you how many notes you hit.

I think I hit notes on time in GH but I actually miss but I wouldn't know it if it didn't beep at me.

That's because he's a moron.

Also I didn't come into this thread to make fun of BubbleBobble, but my first thought was him playing all the instruments and singing the songs by himself while keeping a hand free to post on TWW. Does that make me a bad person?

Sorry, expressive aphasia moment. After thinking for a long time I came up with this:

"You can't really tell if you're playing a real instrument correctly because there is no statistical feedback at the end of the song".

That's the best I can do. Sorry.

ugh I wish I had started wanting this AFTER it came out

that's what happened with the Beatles

like I didn't really know when The Beatles: RB was coming out, so I wasn't expecting it, and when I started wanting it, it had already been out for a month

but nowww of course there's another month left for the Wii release of RB3

I'm strongly considering buying the game and the keyboard as a "bundle" since they don't have a real bundle

I can just use my beatles guitar for the regular guitar

that pro guitar stuff I probably won't try for a while

yeah. i want the keyboard bundle. i really only play drums, although i have 2 guitars. the pro guitar is awesome and i'd like to try it one day, esp since i used to play a real one back in the day, but it's not top priority. hehe

has anyone heard if there's a feature kinda similar to the mode on lego rock band where you can play along without the track prompting the notes?

are you that douchebag that breaks out a real guitar at parties, even though you don't really know how to play it well and only know three songs?

which doesn't have extensive info except for the tracklisting

I'm sure they have this in RB3. You can find it in RB2 as well under Extras.

you would think since Wii is pretty much inferior, they'd at least try to make their prices more competitive to keep up

BB, how much have you spent on stuff for the various Rock Band games?

Just curious if you could have put together a decent Pro Tools system in your house for the same amount of money.

I probably could have, lol

I dropped 250 for beatles rock band for the bundle

then 100 on a limited edition guitar

who knows otherwise, I'm sure I could have saved the whales for all the money I've put into them
