I have done a ridiculous amount of work today. Edited virtually a full magazine of raw copy including some huge features, approved a bunch of online stuff, some press releases, and more work on our awards nominations listing that is a ton of work. And made a sandwich.

Funny how the days I am most productive at work are also the days I post more on TWW. I just go into overdrive sometimes.

talked about a backhoe to a salesman for like 30min
got rid of some machines we had to cancel orders for
read a bunch of memos

i normally don't accomplish as much personal stuff on a work day but with leaving town tomorrow i had to buckle down and get it done

Changed the brake pads on my car. It was a real bitch because I found out after taking the wheels off that I didn't have the right torx bit to get the calipers off, so I had to put them back on in order to drive to Advance. When I finally started to change the pads, my piston compressor's handle broke, and I had to improvise with vice grips which took a really long time.

Sometimes I miss my old car.
