If he actually didn't serve homosexuals his product, that'd be one thing, but because he chose not to do a special order because of his personal beliefs - I fail to see the problem there...

Sure I might not have made the same decision, cause a buck is a buck, but this isn't a "we don't serve your kind here," kinda thing

while I'm 100% for gay rights it is definitely the choice of the business owner to serve whoever he wants

and it is totally the right of activist groups to encourage people NOT to patronize his bakery if they disagree with HIS beliefs

the market will sort itself out

Exactly. If people feel that his choice is wrong, they don't have to go to his store anymore.

If enough people feel that way then nature will take its course and he will go out of business.

This is the same reason I disagree with the smoking bans that are popping up everywhere. I don't smoke and I don't want to smell smoke while I eat, so I just wouldn't go to places that stink like smoke. I would naturally go to the restaurants that were smoke free.

It is not my right, nor anyone elses, to get any custom cupcake order filled, or to be able to go to any bar I want and not smell smoke.
