I don't really see it as being condescended to, granted I'm not in the same situation so I can't really vouch differently.

I would say I'd feel pretty happy just knowing that there are that many people made an attempt to make it happen.

I'm not inspired or anything, but I didn't think the video was bad. If he really sucked, it would be awful. Like if he was carrying the ball with his arms outstretched in front of his body...

But the kid's got moves. I don't know how to put this politely...but whatever, if he played on a team with other kids who had Down's syndrome, I think he would get him some TDs.

Only drawback I see from shit like this is that every parent with a kid with Downs is going to put them on a sports team and ask the coaches to let them score a touchdown in a blowout. This could slow down a Friday night at a large school with good-sized mentally handicapped population.
