I was thinking about suicide bombers today. There are so many places they can go and wipe out multiple people at once all across the US. Parking decks, malls, college campuses, sporting events...I just don't understand if it is about wiping out as many non-Muslims as possible in jihad fashion then why you gotta be an attention whore about it and try to do something like crash into the Twin Towers or park your SUV in Time Square? Why is this not like Traitor?

i hope no city is attacked, whether in europe or elsewhere. killing innocent people does not accomplish anything, not to mention is wrong and can never be justified.

actually, bombing of the madrid metro did lead to spain pulling out its troops from iraq... but very wrong nonetheless. if these terrorists had any balls they would be attacking the military forces of the countries they want to attack, not their civilians.

In fairness, the entire point of terrorism is to make civil populations of democratic countries reconsider the actions of their governments. I'm not saying it is morally justified (and I am saying this as a 2x veteran of Iraq) but if we're going to bring the war to the doorstep of innocent (such that anyone can be innocent) civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, we should not be surprised if partisans of these nations (or associated targeted ideologies) bring that war to our doorstep.
