If a police car is operating it's siren, can it blow through a red light at whatever speed it wants? In this video, the street was cordoned off for the filming of Transformers 3, but a police car responding to a call ran the roadblocks then ran a red light, smashing into Bumblebee, killing the car instantly. From watching the video, the cop most likely had a red light.
