For the first time ever you can monitor Public Safety around the NC State Fair online.

Online Audio Feed (courtesy Radioreference.com):

There are Free (and paid) apps that allow you to listen to Radioreference.com feeds on your iphone, ipod touch, ipad and Android devices. I use a great free app on my Droid called "Scanner Radio":

Monitoring Guide Info Thread:

Enjoy!

I should be around if any issues or questions arise about the feed or radio stuff in general.

That's pretty cool. If only I had a phone that would handle all this new stuff...

^^Fireworks injury ended up being something minor...

Feed should be pretty quiet for the rest of the evening as most Public Safety personnel have checked 10-42 (off duty).

Radio traffic should pick back up again early tomorrow AM.

Pretty interesting day so far. Few wrecks around Fairgrounds and a ton of parents getting lost from their kids...feed should be good around 9:45pm when the Fireworks are set off.
