I wrote the property management as a consumer expressing my disappointment with the incident.

Here was their response:

^I posted a pick of one of the chicks involved, she's no Drew Carey. I'll concede that 90% of lesbians in the media have extreme looks. Either gorgeous lipstick lesbians or the extreme in the opposite direction. But outside of that, I think most lesbians follow roughly the same normal distribution of looks which lots your average, not super hot, not super ugly, sort of appearances.

Either that, or my anecdotal experiences with lesbians is somehow skewed towards normal looking people in a way that most people don't experience, although I would be surprised if that was the case, b/c I'm betting I encounter more lesbians than the average person, and increasing sample size should help with avoiding outlying results

Anyway what makes you so sure those women are all in college or high school?

Also it's likely the reason you don't notice many attractive lesbians or bisexual women is that any unknown random person is often assumed to be straight, and even if they're not closeted, women (and men) don't flaunt their sexual orientation all or even most of the time.
(I know I've been surprised at the women I've met who turned out to be lesbian or bi, including one who actually presented a straight façade throughout college and even a while afterward)
