I have no clue, but you've given me a million-dollar idea. I will write programs that crawl all over the Web, indexing Web pages according to keywords. Then, I will write a powerful engine that searches this index and returns results based on words and phrases entered by users. I just need to decide what to call it.

I've wanted this for a while; in fact, I've wanted a full house design web-based service for a while. something to includes standards, standard/common dimensions, wall/floor color, furniture, etc, etc, etc.

well I was hoping for a select list of those that were "a cut above" and came along with some personal anecdotes. if nobody has any to share, that don't confront me none. the first few I've tried that your multi-million dollar idea came up with, well, they kinda sucked. prompting me to create this thread.

A moderately more helpful answer: Post this in Old School, where old people who have actually needed or wanted this kind of thing are more likely to have relevant recommendations based on their experiences.

if i post this thread in the exclusive forum it will have like 3 views before lunch. I might get more responses in the long term, but I've got to act on part of my project pretty soon so timely answers are a bit more valuable than a great answer 6 months from now. and since you have access in that forum i assume you'd still be taking up space on the first page with insight-free content. But you're probably right, chit chat is only frequented by freshmen and vagrants that saw tww on the news these days. I'm sure the next post is gonna say "I decorated my dorm room with bob marley posters I got from the brickyard. I think that giant tent is still there, you should check it out."
