Yesterday, you may have had trouble instantly watching TV episodes or movies due to technical issues.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. If you attempted and were unable to instantly watch TV episodes or movies yesterday, click on this account specific link in the next 7 days to apply your 2% credit to your next billing statement. "

2% isn't really anything but you don't see Time warner doing shit about their lousy service .

Thank you Netflix, you're good people.

Yeah I received this email, too, even though I didn't watch instantly yesterday and they offered me 3%.

I won't redeem it but I appreciate their customer service.

their user interface has become so awful that i'm cancelling it as soon as I finish what's on my current queue.

their selection drops off a great deal once you've seen their "premiere" movies, and they haven't added very many quality ones...

Really disappointed. Netflix used to be so awesome. Now it's a headache.

I'm obsessed with the streaming so I might just flip over to that. I usually let the actual discs sit around my condo a month before viewing, woops.

i'll probably drop the discs

they take so long to get new content now, HBO or Cinemax will generally get it at the same time

[Edited on July 12, 2011 at 12:13 PM. Reason : i'll keep the streaming for the moment]

"According to the tipster we spoke to, Netflix is planning to change its pricing entirely, by also implementing a streaming only plan with no discs for $7.99, and jacking up the minimum pricetag for combined services to $15.98 from the current $9.99 it has charged since November."

this is what I have now (streaming, no dvds, $8/mo)

as long as that doesn't change, I'm happy

I'm glad Netflix is evening out in popularity, I'm afraid the more customer base they gain, the more some dumbass wants to pass Net Neutrality.

I'm telling you, if they drop discs and go full stream, the gov't is going to jam net neutrality right up their ass.

Settledown, don't get me wrong, I love the idea.

I love what it USED to be.

But there's only so many cheesy sci-fi movies, crappy b-movies, low-budget thrillers, and reality shows one can take.

After you've watched the good stuff, it starts to lack - and the movies that they add simply aren't that great.

My current queue has 45 movies/series left in it. Mostly documentaries and A&E shows. After that, I'll have watched almost everything that I care to see on there. With a finite selection, it's a natural conclusion that even you will arrive at eventually.

i get the discs because the streaming quality doesn't compare to BluRay. also the content for streaming lacks compared to disc.

The last 3 times I looked something up with the Search function they were all listed as "disc only" so that kinda sucks.
