A lot of people seem to be having weird dreams the last few days. Maybe there's something in the water.

Mine have been all little bitty snippets of bizarre things, but no full-on dreams that have story lines or anything.

That reminds me of when I broke my leg pretty badly and started tripping my ass off in the hospital from the combination of morphine and demerol that they gave me prior to setting the broken bones. I was waterskiing in the front yard at my place at Lake Gaston with my brother and my neighbor while being chased by anacondas. There were no boats or ski ropes though...we just water skied gracefully through the grass with no external power sources. It was ok though because we were professional anaconda outrunners who had been tasked by the state with the job of distracting the anacondas so other people could enjoy the lake without fear.

That's a 100% true story btw.

I just had a dream that I went to a haunted house that was kind of like one of those murder mystery dinner things, in that we were going there to eat and it was supposed to be a Halloween-themed patrons have to outsmart the wicked servers at the restaurant kind of thing. Except as soon as we got there, they separated me from my group and said they were going to put me somewhere else to "set the stage" for what was happening to the others.

They took me to a big plastic box and told me to get in and threw a big plastic hose at me and said it was my breathing tube. Then they filled it with nasty brown (I think it smelled like bologna) water and told me to get used to my breathing tube because they were going to close the lid soon. I tried to use it but it kept filling with the brown water. One other person I'd gone in with had been put in a box next to me and I looked over at them and they weren't having problems so I tried it again, and was laying there in the nasty water breathing through a tube waiting for them to shut the lid, and whoever the main scary guy was (I had seen him when we got there and knew he was the main one we were trying to avoid) came up and licked my face really slowly with a really raspy, gross tongue. I remember thinking, "I know they are trying to make it realistic so I will be scared, but this is sort of crossing the line, so maybe it isn't actually the show and he is about to try to eat me or something."

Now I can't fall back asleep. WTF, dreams.

ended up being one of those times where your body reacts to the dream and i ended up taking a swing or two irl

I have what I call "horror movie" nightmares. Crazy people chasing me with knives and guns. I had a dream a couple of months ago where this unsuspecting guy was killing my friends by decapitating them and then smearing their decapitated head blood against white walls.

i had a dream last night that I was visiting my childhood home in massachusetts

i was walking around the sidewalk in the front yard, and the current owner comes out and acts like a jerk asking what we're doing. so i get ready to leave and the guy's teenage son comes out and invites us in. so we go inside, and the kid starts calling me names or something. i just leave, then he grabs either punchmonk or maya, i can't remember, and locks himself in his room. i don't remember how the dream ended, but the last thing i remember is going back inside the house with an ax, and a gas container and lighter, intending to set the kid on fire

the only dreams i remember are usually recurring dreams about being chased, jumping/falling from a great height, or all my teeth falling out.

the most recent was i was running from some unknown source of danger and I had an a-ha moment where I realized this must be a dream. So i stopped running and said "this is stupid, its just a dream. i'll just wake myself up and this will all go a....ohhhh shitttt they're coming runnnnnnnnnnnn"
