like how links are automatically turned into clickable-links when posted without tags. so images should be automatically posted as images, not links. Wouldn't this be easy, just have your voodoo that you do look for an image extension in addition to the url?
of course, we couldn't pwn some n00bs for n00bing up posts and threads via failing to tag a picture properly. but I can do without this.] 10/25/2010 4:53:51 PM |

Swapping the image url text for the image would create problems if you're not actually trying to post an image. Not a problem with links, which are text regardless.

The URL already has that.
What he means is that he won't be able to post text like "http://www.goatporn.net/one_goat_one_jar.jpg" without the pic showing up. And we don't want that pic showing up.10/27/2010 11:44:49 AM |

^^why not? ^I know the url already has it. I was emphasizing that the code could look for the image extension to post the picture, instead of just looking for a url (non-image) and posting the link 10/27/2010 3:32:03 PM |

if you already have the url why cant you just click one button and paste it into the prompt? this is not a smart idea. 10/27/2010 9:28:02 PM |
