We didn't. But we did have a jar of mercury that we would occasionally pour into our hands and mess around with. That might explain some things. 10/28/2010 12:40:02 PM |

My elementary school did not, however my 4th grade school had some sweet snakes in jars and my mom donated a human eyeball in a jar (which still pisses me off to this day...That was my eyeball in a jar!!!)
In addition, my local library had a octopus in a jar. If you're from Rocky Mount I know you remember that octopus in Thomas Hackney Memorial Library.

lol...my mom also had a vial of mercury that we used to play with. Now when they find mercury in a school they evacuate it and do a huge cleanup. weird.

Mine as in I owned it; not mine as in it came out of my own eye socket.
I think my mom got it from the first hospital she started out at which was shut down in the 70's.
I've got some sweet turn of the century hard rock maple furniture from that hospital too.

Would it be weird for TWW to start a "dead animal in a jar" collection to donate to local schools? Like, when you catch a stingray or see a snake in your yard you kill it and put it in a jar and then donate it on behalf of TWW. Would qntmfred support us on this?
