it's a big thing right now that takes advantages of a loophole in the anti-gambling laws that only say that gambling currency or token currency is not allowed.

Sweepstakes things have been popping up all throughout the state. They're little casinos that use Phone cards instead of currency, which are considered an exception to the rule. You purchase minutes on a phone card and you play using those minutes. You can then sell your phone card in an entirely unrelated exchange!

As soon as they amend the law (so, you know, it could take forever the way things go) they'll pick up and move to the next venture.

The one near my house is a "business center" that also offers fax/copy/ &scan.
