Nearly all Nyquil medicines have acetaminophen. Acetaminophen + alcohol can = acute liver failure.
You should try to keep your liver.
If you drink, you need to stop buying Tylenol, Nyquil, and other pain/cold meds that have acetaminophen right now. They can actually fuck you up if you take them a day after you drink (google "alcohol acetaminophen syndrome" if you don't believe me)
If you need to take anything it should probably be Ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin) or Naproxen (Aleve). These two + alcohol are tough as hell on your GI tract and may cause stomach bleeding/ulcers over time, but generally safe unless you're a chronic user. Far less likely to straight up kill you than mixing acetaminophen and alcohol at least.
Sorry to kill your buzz.

He's right. Get the one that says "nighttime cough" that has no acetaminophen in it. Losing your liver function = FTL 11/1/2010 12:33:45 AM |
