Neat. I've only done 2 or 3 online/partially online courses. I can't imagine doing a whole degree that way, but the increased flexibility is probably a good thing.
Quote : | "The online program is designed so that students can complete all coursework in two years. All but two courses are offered online and are taught using asynchronous methods. This means that you can complete the course requirements at a time and location convenient to you, within the deadlines set by each professor. Teaching methods will include podcasts linked with PowerPoint, tools such as Moodle and Elluminate, streaming video files, and discussion boards. Face-to-face instruction will be used for the two residence courses in the program: Managerial and Career Effectiveness and a study abroad course." |
I wonder why they kept some non-online courses? Does one have to do those 2 courses here? Or can someone do them more locally, and do the rest online... otherwise it seems to tie it down to triangle area people which loses a lot of the flexibility.
Also, I wonder how tuition works with in state vs out of state for an online program?11/10/2010 9:51:06 PM |

It definitely costs 93% more to administer an online class to an out of state student.
