Kind of short notice but I am planning to get rid of this simply because I don't need two 4x12 speaker cabinets after I got my custom Splawn 4x12 awhile back.

It's the matching cabinet that came with my 5150 head that I really loved and it sounds great. I used it live, in the studio, and at practice for about 3 years so it has some standard wear and tear because it was used a lot but is in great shape (perfect working condition) other than 2 wheels being broken (which I have knocked down the price for).

**The reason it is kind of short notice is because the cabinet is in Raleigh in our practice space but I live in SC. A friend of mine who is going to be in Raleigh this weekend was going to pick it up and bring it to SC for me on Sunday. I was going to use it down here until I can sell it and get a 2x12 but if anyone is interested in picking it up this weekend I could have him sell it for me up there before he leaves town.

Asking $300 simply because it is short notice and the two wheels are broken. Still a great price when many comparable cabinets sell for $400+ in good working condition...

but good luck selling this especially if it has the stock sheffields because nobody wants those, and its not worth taking them out and selling them seperately.

Post pics of its condition. Those are pretty decent cabs..but $300 is a little steep.
There are some on CL in good condition for less than $220.

I am 4 hours away from it at the moment but I could try and get someone to post pics of the condition for me maybe. Besides the wheels, the tolex is in fine condition but the most important part for a speaker cabinet is that it is in perfect working condition with no loose input jacks and the speakers nice and broken in and everything.

If you can show me where the 5150 cabinets have been going for $220 on craigslist I'd be interested to see that (not being sarcastic). I watched quite a few on ebay the past few months actually sell for $250-$300 +~$50 shipping and basically all of the 5150 cabs on craigslist I checked for were listing at $250-$350 so I put my price in the middle as a starting spot.

They usually sit on clist for three months and the price will drop every two weeks or so...

You should really consider selling it unloaded if you want to move it quickly that is. I can't remember the exact dimensions, but I think its almost as big as the avatar cabs except slanted and most people who would buy one of these don't care about the type of wood. Selling cabs is really shitty, id probably buy it if I had extra cash and didn't already have 2 4x12s and a 2x12 that need speakers. Actually ill forward the other guy in my band this posting.
