I ran a marathon yesterday and ran the last 10 miles on a VERY messed up foot. It's all bruised up now and I cant walk on it.
Anyone know where I can score a pair of crutches to use for a few days? I'd rather buy than rent. 11/15/2010 8:18:38 PM |

I know that Ashworth's drug store in downtown Cary has all sorts of walkers and canes. They're bound to have crutches you could buy.
Prices... well... I dunno, walmart probably has them too. 11/15/2010 8:19:53 PM |

If I knew who you were I would say that Fareako has a set he isn't using.
But I don't. 11/15/2010 8:31:15 PM |

^It's cool man. I have a coworker who has a set I can borrow, but was looking to buy a set if possible.
I seem to need them every few months for some reason or another
Also, for anyone reading, Walmart and Walgreens BOTH do not have crutches available in-store.

Good Will, seriously. There is one in Brier Creek. The one further down Glenwood, at Lynn Road, had like ten pairs when I was there last week. 11/15/2010 9:08:40 PM |

^i'm not trying to be a dick, but considering the fact that your first post in this thread was dead wrong, I'd venture to say that the answer to my question is tougher than one might think.
^^Thanks man, I might try there tomorrow.

in my own defense, i did put a question mark after the guess. my first answer one was the obvious one, a medical supply store, but the first response mentioned it.

nothing a couple phone calls can't take care of...and the medical supply store answer was pretty obvious imo]11/15/2010 9:36:53 PM |
