I am going to wash it this weekend and put up some more pics
$15,400
2nd owner (I have owned for 3 years) 80,000 miles 4x4 stability control tinted windows black with tan trim 4.0 V6 (does very decent on gas on the highway ~23-24 - in the city I am getting 17-18) sunroof powered 3rd row leather mp3 multi disc CD player premium sound package mp3 player jack satellite radio ready
runs great, drives great. I have most of the service records, including the Ford recommended major tune up at 60k miles, (transmission flush, differential service, etc...)
there is about a 6" scratch on the tailgate I have never had repaired. other than that it is very clean. I kept a seat cover on the driver seat so it shows very little wear.

it has a factory mounted hitch...the receiver is only 1 1/4" though. it is smaller than the standard 2" receiver you typically see. I think that is because it is only the V6 and cant pull what the V8 is rated for.
I do have an adapter that looks like this:

it works fine for light towing. I wouldnt use it for heavy stuff though. 11/16/2010 2:11:34 PM |

Passed it along to my friend. He said he is looking for a truck not a SUV. 11/18/2010 3:21:58 PM |

nah, that's just a way for the dealer to spend a minimal amount of money while charging even more for such a [sarcasm]nice[/sarcasm] optional feature. Those receivers are worthless and should just be yanked out an replaced.
That V6 can haul most anything a normal person would need (boats, u-hauls, etc).]11/19/2010 8:34:16 AM |

^ agreed, my v6 has a correct hitch as well.
(not to crap the OP's thread, the nominal cost to replace the hitch with a proper one shouldn't be a dealbreaker for anyone) 11/19/2010 10:02:17 AM |

the hitch on this model is integrated with the bumper...so upgrading it is a bitch...I have inquired myself. 11/23/2010 8:44:56 PM |

Nothing difficult about it. You might want to put on a transmission cooler if you're going to be towing anywhere near it's capacity; especially if you're covering any large distances.
