so megabus is giving away free tickets from raleigh to washington then washington to boston until jan 15th.
I am planning on flying up for the Boston College game on the 11th.
Is anyone else interested in going? My plan is to either stay that night or just turn around and fly back after the game to save money. Would be renting a 16 passenger van more than likely once we get there to save cost as well and go to the game where we can either Scalp tickets or buy off craigslist or stub hub.
If there is any interest let me know in this thread or Via PM.
thinking the total cost would be less than 60 if we dont stay the night anywhere. 11/16/2010 1:53:29 PM |

I can't imagine anyone taking a bus from Raleigh to Boston, watching a 2 hour basketball game, then taking a bus from Boston back to Raleigh
But 60 bucks does sound like a HELL OF A DEAL 11/16/2010 2:01:15 PM |

I'd rather hang out in Boston than go to a game in Chestnut Hill 11/16/2010 2:04:05 PM |

There is an active alumni group up here in Boston that will be getting a block of seats, so let me know if you are serious about coming and want to sit with us.
Why would you need a van? The public transportation here is great. 11/16/2010 2:48:41 PM |

i thought megabus was already out of the free tickets
and yeah, i went to a state-bc football game up there and it blew . . . no one cares about BC. they don't have fans. imagine wake forest except colder, emptier, more depressing, with the same amount of dancing L to which we are accustomed, and then having to travel back home. although mercifully no zombie nation.
i haven't been to their basketball arena, but if my impressions from TV are correct, it's basically the goat building at the nc state fairgrounds with a basketball court and twelve fans.

first I've heard of this Megabus shit. I see their "Raleigh/Durham" stop is in downtown Durham, with no service in Raleigh. Fuck driving to Durham and leaving my car in the Greyhound parking lot for a cheap bus ride.
and fuck Raleigh/Durham being used to describe Durham. 11/16/2010 3:36:05 PM |

Who was that retarded poster from a few years back who wanted to charter a plane for Tee-Dubbers to fly to Southern Mississippi for a football game? 11/16/2010 5:41:49 PM |

I'll be there, I think. Just got a ticket on ebay--Section LL Row 33--and a bus ticket. Now to find someone in Boston I can stay with. 1/10/2011 12:56:05 AM |
