I'm a bit stumped. I have a direct link for a couple monitors I'm trying to sell, but I can't find it either with search or by going to the date I made the post and looking. Wtf? Anyone ever had this happen?

For free postings it takes approximately 15 minutes from the time you self-publish the posting until it appears on the site.

If your posting does not appear in the category where you posted it, try to REFRESH or RELOAD your browser. The refresh/reload option is usually located along the top of your browser. If you do not see it there, try clicking the right button on your mouse. If you do not refresh/reload, you might not be seeing the most current version of the page and you will not see your posting.

I just went to their feedbk forum for the first time in my life to see if anything useful was there, and sure enough, it seems this is a current issue based on the number of people posting "why is my ad not showing up" titles to threads.

I originally published a week ago and thought it was strange I didn't get any emails about what I thought was a decent price ($75 for 2 19" LCDs), not even any lowballs. Went looking and couldn't find my ad with search (direct link shows it). Deleted that one and posted another yesterday, still no dice.

I've had this exact thing happen to me. It told me it was published and that it'll come up in searches, but it never would. And then it wouldn't let me re-list it, says "that's very similar to something you recently listed..."

Had this same problem as the OP...when I reposted (after the two day limit), the repost didnt show up either. The ad is there, you can click on the direct link in the email or in your account info and see the ad...it just doesnt come up in the list, and isnt searchable.

^, ^^ as far as Kadwackles post, her answer is in my OP. You don't get a direct link until you click on the link in your email and it takes you to the publish page (actually, the direct link is after you click publish I think).

As for craptastics post, I don't need a fucking copypasta from the FAQ of the site. The whole "you're welcome" part actually had me thinking he was being a dick about it, which is why I replied in kind.
