You could stack 1,000,000 sheets on top of each other to reach a height of 1mm.

If you stretched a sheet around a coffee mug, it would be strong enough to support the weight of a car.

I think I worked with this shit but it is very brittle and you have to be very carefull with it in the lab.

Make it at home! Just rub some pencil graphite somewhere and peel off layers using Scotch tape. Everyone's a scientist!

just read the wiki, yep we worked with it by providing (cutting) special silicon carbide backings.

we did some other fun stuff with boron carbide too, I think? we always got cool stuff from the physics labs from Cambridge and some others I can't think of right now.
