Pros
-The first computer i've ever owned that has never frozen, it did bluescreen when the hdd failed over the summer but that was the first problem i had with it since purchase in 08
-Can edit/watch/stream 1080 content with no hiccup (i used it regularly between Photoshop and editing home movies from my 1080i camcorder and streaming to the ps3)
- specs at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220307

Cons
-Had to cannibalize HDD so not included
-Screen is unreadibly dim so either the inverter or the lcd bulb needs to be replaced, one is cheap and one is not ($50 vs. $200) but I can perform the work if you care to diagnose and get the part
- battery only lasts an hour but if you use it as an htpc then if the power fails you've got a built in ups

would work really well as an htpc without fixing the screen and it will work with an external display

it's a special edition (parts aren't 100% compatible with just the M50Sa model) and I can't find any being sold elsewhere online so I'll just open it up to reasonable offers in it's condition

that's not a half bad idea actually

add a usb monitor w/touch ability and rig up some usb ports in the dash

only problem is making sure the vibrations don't damage the hdd

I have a Xenarc 7" TSV with a custom mount kit for a B5 S4 if anyone is considering the carPC route.

What type of guitar are you looking for?

I've been thinking about making an offer on this thing anyway, my old laptop is fried.

I have a nice yamaha acoustic, not sure what model off the top of my head (I'm in Wilmington for the weekend). Let me know if you're interested.

I have an Alvarez PF-90SC, but I think it's worth more than 200.

Cool. I remember trying to play something similar to that mustang pro a couple years ago at the sharper image. It was pretty weird; let me know how it goes.

I can probably give you 150 for this, but I would have to check finances at the end of the week.
