Do you know how much they are new? I know at apple I bought one for my gf for her macbook pro and I think it was around $80 dollars new. I can do $45 if that sounds ok with you? Did the wire rip out of the end? There was a recall on some adapters, check Apple's website. If the recall is over, they won't help you in the store, but if you call the Apple service number, they will probably still send you one.

my charger frayed twice

they replaced it free both times

the second time was yesterday and they gave me an L shaped instead of the crap T shape-- yay!
