I'd always thought a medley was one or more songs having parts played going from one to the next

not an intertwined song made of parts of two songs going back and forth and over each other

Okay, I turned it off before they started lacing them together. My bad.

With that said, they're modulating the "Clint Eastwood" parts, not playing them as they are in the actual song...so it's more of a mashup of "Sad But True" and a song that kinda sounds like "Clint Eastwood" but isn't.

I've heard at least a half dozen that were worse.

Granted, I like this one, but a lot of white guys in the '80s decided they could cover Supremes songs straight-up with SSL production...and they couldn't.
