Here's how this shit is gonna play out ok:

So vanhalenfan smokes cigarettes, doesn't really want to quit, but kinda does...he might've tried the nicorette gum in the past, but it wasn't for him...dipping doesn't satisfy the oral fixation or give the nicotine buzz the same way, so he hears a radio ad or overhears someone talking about e-cigarettes...he figures, whats the harm in trying them?

So he makes a thread on TWW, asks advice about them, gets some varied responses...but he wants to try one...so he buys one...he uses it...the novelty factor is still strong, he likes it...he even goes a day or two without smoking a real cigarette although the e-cig becomes more of a supplement than a substitute

2 weeks go by...you hardly ever use the e-cigarette...your spare boxes of filters that they conned you into buying are beginning to accumulate dust, and become covered up by old receipts from Circle K...you realize its a cool concept but you lack the will power to embrace it fully...you go back to regular cigarettes

GrumpyGOP uses them a fair amount...handy if you're out someplace where you can't smoke inside, but have a nic fit I suppose.
