Yes, because it was buying championship tickets that jinxed us, plus the fact that this was an important game. Oh yeah, and we were ranked. And it was Maryland. There was just no way we could win. We shouldn't have even traveled to College Park for the game, what a waste of time, battling all those jinxes. Nah, couldn't have had anything to do with crappy ball playing.

I felt guilty about prematurely ordering tickets, but had we blown it open at any points, the limited number of remaining tickets would have gone quickly, and knowing my luck, I would've been left out.
